E-commerce product website. No existing site. We decided to combine both the products and lifestyle images in the layout for two main categories, Commercial and Residential ranges.
Each having there own landing pages that provide more detail, before leading into the ecommerce sections. Purpose of this was to provide an online catalogue to aid in the purchase of larger ticket items.
UX research to UI design to Web development. Med to High fidelity wireframes where constructed in Sketch prototyping tool. Usability testing conducted by the client, and staff members.
For the high fidelity design dark contrasts and backgrounds were used to help the BBQ’s metallic exterior pop more. Images are used in the top main navigation to help the user identify the BBQ ranges. Incorporating the branding colour “orange” for all the links, provided a solid contrast from the dark background.
